The following ingredients are your recipe to recruiting success. This summer will be the first time that a lot of these ingredients will have a greater weight on you, and it will become a balancing act.

Rely on the NewLAX schedule to get you where you need to be, when you need to be there. We have created a specific summer schedule to give you the knowledge + experience needed to rock it out this fall.

♦ TEAM PRACTICES
Players are expected to attend ALL NewLAX practices and are REQUIRED to attend their select mandatory practices and tournaments. See 2014 Orange schedule for dates and details.

♦ ACADEMICS
Right now it is about creating a college list BASED on your academics. Lacrosse will NOT get you into a college, you must be academically eligible first, to be able to get your foot in the lacrosse door. Start generating your list of schools, based on this key ingredient.

♦ RECRUITING
NewLAX is here to help you understand recruiting and stay on track, however you are expected to help drive this process by using and communicating with us. We can't help if we don't know! If you're looking for more, NewLAX encourages RTRAK (www.recruitingtrak.com) as an accessory to our program. This managment software program is designed to give you the information 24/7. It gives you the templates to create your college list, college coach update, snapshot update and your pre-event, post-event emails. While this is a seperate membership and is not mandatory, we strongly encourage you to join this program, as everything we preach is based off of this content.

♦ COLLEGE VISITS
Attending college camps are a great way to visit a school and experience the campus. Camps give you an all access pass to what it would be like to attend that school - room in the dorms, eat in the dining hall, use the athletic facilities, play for the coach, work with some of the current players. Choose the camps you attend, based on the schools in your top 5 and take advantage of this opportunity.
